Legacy supporting the Wave Project’s Big Give 2022

The Countdown is on….

Legacy is proud to be supporting The Wave Project, this wonderful charity is appealing to the public to help them raise £88,000 to change children’s lives through surf therapy. Running projects from beaches across the UK they have helped over 2000 children and young people who are suffering with their mental health.

The charity has been successful in securing £44,000 in matched funding through The Big Give platform meaning that they need to raise a further £44,000 during the week Tuesday 29^th November and Tuesday 6^th December.

They are urging everyone to consider supporting the appeal during the week – whether it is a donation in lieu of Christmas cards, organising a ‘Jolly Jumper’ day at work or coming together as friends to fundraise to help change the lives of children as young as 8 – improving their self-confidence, their resilience, social skills and build trust with other children and adults .
